We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced content strategy manager with a background in financial products to join our growing team. Our payments platform serves a global community of hosts and travelers, and we need a strong content leader to ensure our experiences are intuitive and inclusive for everyone.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead content strategy for all of our payments and financial products
  • Create content standards to ensure consistency across the payments platform
  • Partner with product leadership and influence strategic decisions
  • Manage content strategists who are embedded in our payments product team
  • Review the team’s work and be accountable for content quality
  • Mentor and coach team members to set concrete goals and develop their strengths
  • Provide regular, actionable performance feedback and write reviews
  • Balance managing with hands-on content strategy work and set an example that helps elevate the practice
  • Partner closely with design, research, and other cross-functional leaders to foster a collaborative culture and drive consensus across the team
  • Work with legal and localization teams to simplify complex concepts for a global audience
  • Help shape the strategic vision and goals for the entire content strategy team
  • Promote content strategy throughout the company and within the broader design and content communities
  • Develop processes and templates to help content strategists work more efficiently and trainings or workshops to enhance their skills
  • Work with other content strategy leads and managers on team-wide initiatives, like recruiting

Requirements:

  • 2+ years management and leadership experience
  • 5+ years practicing content strategy
  • Experience with and passion for financial products
  • Proven ability to collaborate successfully with cross-­functional partners and work in a fast-paced environment
