The Growth Marketing team at Airbnb is at the intersection of marketing, engineering and data science. Our work is imperative to driving the top line of the entire company. As a Growth Marketing Lead, you will play a critical role in managing Airbnb's relationship with our guests in the LATAM market.
The difference you will make:
The Growth Marketing LATAM lead will be the face of Growth Marketing in the LATAM market. You will represent all Growth marketing channels in LATAM leadership meetings, while being an extension of the team in HQ. You will be responsible for end-to-end execution, from strategy alignment, to capturing business requirements, to planning, delivery, and evaluation of performance against KPIs. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Brand and Creative to set and exceed aggressive growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background with a passion for executing scalable growth marketing strategies, and will possess the ability to represent those initiatives in LATAM leadership conversations.
Beyond having general experience in growth marketing strategies, you will be an expert in engagement marketing. Your responsibilities will include helping develop the strategy, enhancement, and execution of lifecycle marketing programs and campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app notifications, focused on improving our key customer engagement metrics (browse, search, page views, bookings) and re-engagement (repeat visits and activating of churned guests) to ultimately grow reach and drive guests further into the conversion funnel.
Your typical day:
Generalist:
- Be a growth marketing channel expert to help accelerate growth in the LATAM market; be able to manage a broad spectrum of Growth Marketing tactics to acquire new users and retain existing users.
- Represent strategic growth initiatives in leadership business reviews; providing insights into channel trends, impact of key initiatives, and cascade insights to team.
- Have general knowledge of campaign optimization strategies to drive efficiency (Paid Channels), acquisition and retention tactics (Engagement), and organic levers, and familiarity w/ marketing automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional (remote) teams including brand marketing, creative, engineering and analytics to inform growth marketing strategies for LATAM. This includes identifying key growth opportunities through both quantitative and qualitative analyses for LATAM, and evangelizing these opportunities to cross-functional teams.
- Be highly analytical and technical; be an expert in tracking, audience creation, measurement, attribution, optimization, and automation across the Airbnb platforms.
Engagement Marketing:
- Work closely with regional cross-functional partners to action on demand/ supply insights and seasonal moments to capitalize on, as well as integrating policy-led initiatives into campaigns where appropriate.
- Analyze LATAM customer data to identify key trends and behaviors and develop targeted messaging and campaigns to drive desired outcomes across the guest lifecycle.
- Own project management and cross-functional campaign development workflow with dedicated Product, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Technology and Creative teams.
- Translate business goals into accurate delivery requirements, including but not limited to: specifying required data, segmentation & targeting logic, and dynamic content requirements.
- Conduct regular, extensive experimentation to facilitate rapid learning & application of any insights.
- Own comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly reporting of all relevant Engagement Marketing KPIs & influence the build of the right dashboards to track and socialize performance.
Your expertise:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in Growth Marketing and CRM/Lifecycle/Engagement marketing.
- Strong understanding of the LATAM market and consumer behavior.
- Must exhibit superb verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort interpreting results and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Results-driven marketer with proven quantitative and analytical skills; should be extremely comfortable with Excel (functions, pivots, etc.) and reporting tools like Tableau. SQL skills are a plus.
- Track record of creating successful engagement marketing campaigns and measuring the impact to iterate and constantly improve.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes, and a desire to constantly reassess and optimize.
- Creative, methodical problem-solving skills with focus on efficient execution while balancing big-picture thinking.
- Proactive & independent, always looking for ways to take initiative and improve existing programs/processes.
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented with sharp technical and product skills to a degree of perfection for flawless execution.
Your Location:
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil to be able to conduct their work.
